Aluminium & the Planet

K411 attache case with camera in pick 'n' pluck foam

How Zarges are helping Ecology

It’s great to see how the whole world is more environmentally conscious these days. We’re all aware of the fragility of our ecosystem and are doing our bit to protect it through recycling, supporting renewable energy and consuming ethically.

Here at Zarges, we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and we’re committed to our green credentials. Zarges cases are designed to be environmentally friendly with their aluminium cases with foam in three ways:

Recyclable

All of Zarges cases are built from aluminium. Aluminium cases with foam are a great product because it is a natural material that is long-lasting but can be fully recycled at the end of its life. Plastic crates, on the other hand, are often non-recyclable or expensive to recycle so stay in the environment for a long time, polluting the planet.

Non-toxic in production

Aluminium is a naturally occurring mix of organic minerals. The process of producing aluminium in a factory is through electrolysis. This process takes aluminium ore (also known as bauxite) and extracts the aluminium by electrolysis (passing electricity through it). The process produces no toxic by-products and very little pollution.

Built to last

The most important thing about Zarges cases is that they are designed to last a lifetime. In this throwaway world, the danger is buying products that are not built to last and can’t be recycled so they end up in landfill – polluting the planet and taking up space. If products were built with the same craftsmanship and attention to detail that Zarges employ in each case, then this wouldn’t be a problem. When you purchase n aluminium case with foam from Zarges, you do so safe in the knowledge that this case will last a long, long time. They are strong, rustproof and non-corrosive and come with a 10 year guarantee as standard. And when they do get to the end of their life, you can always recycle!
